Bury the Lede

Bury the Lede, by Gabe Dunn, Claire Roe, and Miquel Muerto

Madison Jackson is interning at The Boston Lede when the prime suspect in a major murder case agrees to speak with her and no one else. The femme fatale Dahlia, in addition to confessing to the murder, starts feeding Madison

Madison lives for journalism, pushing most human connection aside. Will her drive to break the story isolate her from the people she cares about?

It is a well-established fact that I love comics, queer stories and noir fiction. Bury the Lede gives us all three tied into one beautiful book of obsession and corruption. Roe and Muerto team up to give us art that is simultaneously stark and lush, perfectly capturing the dimensions of the story.
